1. What we collect
- Contact details — your name and email address when you request a free audit, download an ebook, or contact us.
- Business information — your business name, website, and details you submit so we can run your audit or deliver the service (for example, Google Business Profile access).
- Messages — what you write to us via the contact page or email.
- Subscription records — your plan and billing status, tied to your email address.
Payment data. Billing is handled entirely by FastSpring, our merchant of record. We never see, handle, or store your card numbers or bank details.
2. How we use it
- To deliver your audit, ebooks, reports, and subscription services.
- To manage your account and communicate about your subscription.
- To send our newsletter and occasional updates — only if you opted in.
- To respond to your messages.
- To improve the site and our services.
3. Newsletter (Kit)
Our email list runs on Kit and is opt-in only. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; you can leave the list anytime with one click. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not cancel a paid subscription.
4. Cookies and analytics
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set technical cookies strictly needed to deliver the site securely and reliably.
5. Who we share data with
Only the service providers needed to run the business:
- FastSpring — payment processing and subscription management.
- Kit — email delivery for the newsletter and ebooks.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data while you are a customer or subscriber, and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and legal records. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it: [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
8. International customers
We are based in the United States. If you use our services from elsewhere — including West Africa — your data is processed in the US, and by using the service you consent to that.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be announced on the site. The current version always lives at hellohiai.com/privacy.
